Last year we stayed at a lovely campsite at the lakes - it was a last minute thing as the site we had booked we didnt like, We want to go back but cant remember the name only that it was near Ullswater/Glenridding? (not sure about that last area!) Lovely campsite where you can pitch right on the stream banks, Sheep as neighbours (literally will come down to the stream to drink) quite a basic site but really loved it!

 

Any ideas what it is called?!

we were at ullswater last w/end, and drove  through Pooley bridge, and up the side of the lake, saw tents right next to it, might be park foot, or castlerigg.

Sounds like it might be Gillside farm in glenridding, it seems to fit your description.

Just type it into the search engine for the website to look it up.
