Having had to cancel our main camping holiday in Scotland due to redundancy, I've just booked us four nights here in August. Thing is, we'd already booked a travelodge for a stopover on the way, so decided we'd not waste it and find a campsite nearby. It looks very nice, and seems to have pretty good reviews on here. I like the sound of the lakeside walk into Pooley Bridge. Just wondered if anyone has been with a dog, our Bailey loves swimming and wondered if he'll be okay to have a swim in the lake. It says dogs on lead at all times on the site, which I respect, but wondered if he'll be able to have a swim somewhere on the lakeside walk.
Also, are all the pitches within a view of the lake, that would be really nice.
