Having lived in Suffolk for a couple of years, I have a vague recollection of a landlord in the Butley area offering space for tents behind the pub.
Can anyone confirm which pub this was - I think it might have been the Oyster Inn at Butley.
Have any of you camped there? We are resorting to desperate measures for this weekend after finding most campsites in the Woodbridge area to be fully booked!

I've just got back from staying near the Oyster. It's got a garden, which i didn't actually go into, but doesn't look anywhere big enough for camping. It's got a new landlord, who's only been there a couple of weeks. I was at Staverton, the adult only site, a couple of minutes from the Oyster, through Wantisden Corner.
Thanks Slyder. We ended up elsewhere in the end, but drove past the nearby Froize Inn (not far from the Butt and Oyster) which I remembered I have camped in before, which is probably the one I was thinking off.
It didn't look like they had anyone camping there though, and it seems to be more of a posh restaurant now than the olde inne it used to be.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
