Thinking of Newquay (Wales) this year but having looked at the sites I'm finding difficulty finding one that doesn't have a very tight approach or steep hill approach.  Children from 9 to 14 need to be kept happy.  Prefer a pool though not an absolute  not bothered about entertainment other than a decent play area.  Would be nice to be near/access to a beach.  Tavelling from North Wales and not really wanting an horrendously hilly journey.  Can anyone help?  Touring caravan by the way.

 Hiah,

Pencnwc about a 5 min drive down   a hill into newquey is nice, only hill is down to the town but you will not avoid that wherever you stay I dont think. Have a look, indoor pool, park, fishing lake, takeaway and a spar and pub  a few minutes walk away.Easy to get to but not near the beach. My 11 year old loves it.

Pengarreg Caravan & Camping Park

We are going here this year and went last year. Although it is a 15 min drive away from new quay. It is brilliant -- direct access to the sea, a shop, small park, play field, and club house a 4 min walk way so no noise and does meals and another play area.  Best of all it's only £15 a night with EH all in.  Forgot to mention the owners are brilliant.

No hilly roads to it as we are in a 4x4 and with a 6 beth van.
