A group of us want to go away for a long weekend but don't want somewhere where we're expected to be tucked up in our sleeping bags by 10pm. We're not rowdy but we would like to be able to sit around together and have a chat and a drink. Ideally looking for something on/near south coast or Norfolkl/Suffolk (we're from London) and not too isolated.  Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

Most sites I frequent, have quiet after 11pm. Your best bet may well be a haven site as you can also snag a late deal , and it would cost you buttons. Other sites have overflow fields that often accomodate those who want to sit drink and talk in off peak times . I used to find in my youth , phoning up a site and explaining your situation is helpful . Once on a site , please make every effort to inform those who arrive after you what your intentions are , so as they can have the options of pitching elsewhere.A few sites will be starting to have communal camp fires where all gather for a chat and drink until the early hours . Also , look for adult only sites .
