hey all new to the site here n im looking for a campsite in the lake district with cracking veiws to wake up to, as well as all the washing facilaties, oh n if ya no of any tha allow camp fires then tha be a bonus !!!

National Trust campsite at the end of the Langdale Valley. Can be busy but has everything including the views, hills all round and good pub nearby.

Bowkerstead farm nr Grizedale forest and Fisherground at Eskdale both allow fires and are in nice locations..

Every camper has dif ideas as to what they think is a good site but for me the views over looking lake ullswater towards the fells from Waterside house campsite in a morning make me glad that im alive..

Ended up staying at low wray nice lil site n not noisey at nite good views n for the fire well jus topped up the bbq wit a few more briquttes
