Our present car cannot legally tow our caravan but we do have a van that can. What we want to do is use our van to tow to sites and then replace it with our car next to the caravan. Can anyone tell me if this would not be allowed on many sites?

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!

Would think it would be down to individual sites. We were on one a couple of weeks ago that stated no commercial vehicles but a flatbed towed a van on then dissapeared.

Where would you leave the van??

Thanks for your reply. That is what we thought. Obviously we would ask before booking. On some sites we have been to as campers there has been a carpark away from the pitches. I have emailed a couple of sites which we have visited before one of which states No commercial vehicles.
