Hi, we are booked into High Straggleton Farm for 4 nights in August. Don't know much about it as it's not listed on this website, so no reviews to check up with, but owners sound lovely. It's top side of Whitby, close enough to walk to the beach. If anybody knows anything about this site, and it's negative, please don't reply to this message as I would rather not know than let it spoil my holiday
They have a website, but don't know how to do a link, sorry.
High straggleton, looks interesting I have a feeling that there is a big static site on this roadbut this one looks smaller. I'll be looking out for your review when you get back
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
I think the large campsite you mention is Sandfield - I tried to book there before but high season is restricted to 7 night minimum, which was no good to us. I will let you know about High Straggleton when we get back, but it's not listed on this website so won't be able to do a review. However, if it is an excellent site, I might not bother, might want to keep it all to myself.
Oooops, I stand corrected - just opened your link & there it is. Still might not do a review tho (lol). Why would I want to let everybody know if its brill, so it gets booked up & then I can't get in !!!! (only joking)
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
