I have searched through the campsite search and would like more advise on where to camp in Anglesey as we have never been before. We have 2 13 year old girls with us and are after a site with electric hookup and with a village very close by, and also near to a beach. Any suggestions ??

I can not suggest a site but somewhere near Benlech would seem to suit your description

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
We went here a few weeks again and it was brilliant. Kids can run round on the farm fields and the beach is a couple of minutes walk away one of which is a private beach for the sole use of campers. A short stroll away is the town with everything you need even a chemist and an other beautiful beach. We have 3 kids and they made friends straight away which was a bonus. Because this site is at the most northern point you are pretty much equal distance to go exploring the rest of the island, only 10 min to hollyhead one way and 15 min to benllech the other
Carson, it seems a nice site, a few reviews complain about water flow problems ie. toilet flushing, showers etc. Did you experience any of these when you last went ?

None at all but it isn't a premium site. Don't expect marble toilets ect but they are perfectly ok. The showers are hot aswell and there is a a mens block, womens block and family room. Can't recommend it enough.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
