We are thinking ahead to Oct half term and having done a bit of research wondered if we had found a winner with this campsite. We will have our 13 old boy with us and all the extra extreme fun activities onsite seem idea, but how much extra will they cost us? Also having read the most recent reviews it would seem that pitches are not the best (small and muddy) unless you have one of the newer hardstanding pitches....does anyone know what pitch numbers these are and how large and sloping are they? Any other comments especially about the toilet blocks would also be appreciated.

thanks

GaryandSue

Two toilet blocks, one older and a newer unisex block, always kept clean no problems here, hardstanding pitches were i think the lower numbers opposite the shop on the site plan, hardstanding pitches are quite large.

Lots of the activities are included in the price, other £1 - £3 (climbing wall, bungee run and balls that you get in and walk across water per go, all swimming pools, pitch & putt, crazy golf FREE at all the sites in the group.

The pitches were when we went not in the best condition, but it would not stop us going to this site again.

we go here every year the facilities are great if you have kids, the new hardstands are large but with a slight slope. the toilets are always kept clean (im not sure how they would cope in high season we always go for 2 weeks in june).

pitch no's 10 to 25 are definatly hardstands not sure about the other numbers17

we have just booked pitch 17 for oct halfterm, im sure your 13 year old will enjoy it mine are 9, 13, and 15 and they love it.

if you need to know anything else let me know..
