Hi we are new to camping and looking for campsites is now driving me mad!! Im looking for a site that has areas children can play freely like woods,or a stream/lake playground etc., Possible real fire, woods. Not bothered really about anything else except I need it cheap... Have just forked out for the tent.

Im in kent so looking for something local, although dont mind travelling a bit..

Much as I hate to tell you - LOL - try Welsummer at Leysdown. Reviews on here plus details. Camp fires, only allows tents. Woods to play and camp in. Pub about 20 minutes walk away. Fabulous site. Fresh eggs from free range chickens. Super couple running it. Great family feel. I'll stop there I think. Enjoy! Or there's Palace Farm near Sittingbourne. Big space in the middle of field for games. Fires allowed in fire pits hired from site.

i live tooo close to palace farm to camp if that makes sense.
