can anyone help in recommending to me some camping sites in the yorkshire/lakes area that are child friendly - and by that I mean plenty of things for the kids to do - playgrounds galore..etc...looking to try somewhere new and want to make sure the little one wont be bored..

Holme Open Farm! We were there last weekend and it was really good for our pre-schoolers. Older children might want more than farm animals and a very small park but it was great for my 2.

 Kids seem to love Fisherground at Eskdale,I know ours do ! There is a adventure playground,pond with tractor tyre rafts,rocks to climb.You just need to make sure you take plenty of clothes......

Whenever we go they always make new friends too.17
