We havn't yet booked for last week of July and first week of august and are looking for a site that can accept a large tent for these weeks.
places we have contacted so far are fully booked so can anyone recomend a site that is likely to still have places available or one that does not accept advanced bookings?

One we once managed to get onto when everywhere else was full was HERE. Only about five tent pitches and the EHU was a spare one on the caravan site which meant throwing the cable over a stream. Not much in the way of facilities, hot water for anything was by slot meter, and there never actually seemed to be very much of it.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
