I can recommend Holmans Wood as our van is there. It doesn't have pools and club houses but does have a play area and tidy loos and showers. A garage nearby has a small shop and Chudleigh isn't far. There is a pub close by with excellent food.
Or else try Lemonford or Kennford International both of which offer seasonal pitches. Not sure about Ross Park or Dornafield but both meant to be excellent sites and also one on Woodbury common whose name evades me...... nope it's not coming back but I know they do have a few seasonals and it is near Exmouth.
