Hi

We are looking to take a short break. We would like a campsite with a fishing lake - ideally with large fish, we have a tent and would like to pitch where we can fish if at all possible

We live in East Yorkshire and as its only a short break, Derbyshire or Yorkshire would be ideal.

Any ideas would be gratefully received.

try a site called oakmere caravan park and fishery its at skipworth north yorks it has 3 lakes that are open to the public as well as the caravaners and campers,you ll have to get up early on a sat or sunday as it can get very busy with day angelers who seem to arrive as early as 5.30 am,if you do go, give the Drovers inn a go,good food and drink and only 5 mins walk from site
