Have just heard on TV news that campsites at Braithwaite and Keswick have been evacuated.

As we are due to go there Friday can any locals let us know what is happening there please.

havent heard anything live in cumbria quite away from keswick but it was torrential rain all last night try and listen to radio cumbria online news on the hour

We got back late last night from a site Nr Penrith, we bailed a day early as the weather was horrific, thr ground held quite well on the site tbh but our tent was leaking in several places. We ummed and arred whether to leave early, but I just had a gut feeling that especially seems the weather was meant to be even worse today than yesterday.
