Myself and the two young ones are so looking forward to visting next week, i was just wondering if there is any dinghy or fishing tackle hire available on site.

There's a canoe and khyak available for use next to the long lake. George keeps the key for safety reasons and you need to ask to use them so kids can't just go and take them without supervision. He also has a couple of lifejackets.
I recommend taking plenty of swimming gear and lifejackets for the kids if they're planning on swimming in the lake. If they're only littlies I'd keep them away from the lake completely and let them loose with wellies fishing nets and buckets in the little ponds.

There are 2 lakes
The big lake known as the Long Lake is the one where there is a little jetty and people swim and put their boats in, then further around the site is the
Round Lake which is where you can fish and theres definetly fish in there

lol was there last week, there are fish in the smaller lake but not many and they seem to be very well fed off the owners so i think they are not biting at all, was talking to an oldish guy who had sat at the lake twice a day for a week and not had a bite from one.
the lake as promise to be a good fishing lake but i think its going to take a few years to establish itself

ive not said im not coming back, I want to come back i was told that no desicions had been made on next year yet. Very strange
