for us following questions are of interest when we phone/book a campsite:
- are we allowed to have a bbq if we don't burn the grass?
- are there shops nearby?
- when do we have to book in/out?
- are we (bikers on one motorbike) welcome?
Some more things to ask (esp for those traveling on a minimum like bikers, push-bikers, backpackers):
- possibility for doing some washing?
- public traffic (bus, train...) nearby?
- campers-kitchen/lounge (if weather is bad!)
- bigger groups welcome?
- Pub nearby?
