Hello. I'm new to this site. I've been trying to find somewhere to camp on Saturday night and everywhere I've tried is fully booked. We would like somewhere accessible from South London (maybe a 2 hour drive max) which has some good walks in the area. Ideally, nothing too built up. We don't have kids (this week end). Any suggestions? Thank you.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
you can check availability BUT be warned nolt all sites up date their calendars, I know cos i trieds a while back and even tho it showed they had spaces, when emailed they said they was full. But it will give u a starting point

Campers do it in the mud!
Hubby says we can
Try Scotts Farm in East Wittering. 2 Hours from South London - down the A3 then A27 then B215.
There is loads of space and you can just turn up. There is another field they open up when really busy. 10 minute walk into village and sea from site. Local shops, pubs and restaurants.
Thanks for that suggestion. We've camped a couple of times in West Wittering (Wickes Farm and Nunnington Farm) and really loved the area. I've just had a look at Scotts Farm and it looks good. I think though for this trip I fancy a new area though. The Witterings are great when we've got the kids, but for once we're kid free this week end! I've added Scotts Farm to my 'To do' with the kids list.
