Hi all

I had planned to spend 3 nights up at Greengrass Park next wkend but it's a 2hr drive and we have decided to go camping for 1 night, 2 at most, more local.

We live in Sheffield and would like one in Derbyshire or Nottinghamshire- anything within an hours drive really.

As it's only for 1 night it would be nice if the site had these on site or closeby-

Playground (daughter is 3)

Showers

Electric (steriliser for baby and heater)

Nice pub or restaurant nearby

I am not after an all singing all dancing one for the sake of 1 or 2 nights but if it is, that's good. If not as long as it's not just a field with nothing else to do then that's good too.

It is for 21, 22 or 23rd August, probably 22 or 23 only or 22 and 23.

try Rivendale Nr. Ashbourne.  Very good, showers excellent and has a small pub/restaurant on site. Ideal family park

You could stay at Silverhill in Teversall in Notts.  It gets good reviews on here - we have not actually stayed there as it is only about 5 mins from home but we go past there regularly as there is a fantastic walk there opposite the site.  it would also probably be quite handy as its not far from junct 28 of the m1.

we have stayed at some lovely sites in Derbyshire but they didnt have a playpark.
