We were going to camp in the lakes this weekend but the weather has forced us down south. We are three families (6 adults and 4 young kids) in tents looking for a first come first served campsite in the oxfordshire area. Clean toilets and a food serving pub in walking distance would be a bonus. Any ideas??

Never been myself as only just started out - but there is one in Witney - Not sure of the name - could do a search. It is near Minster Lovell and the Windrush Pub is in walking distance!
Hope this helps - will see if i can find the name...

Try Hardwick Parks - not been myself but looks nice and we only live 20 minutes away so are tempted to try for an overnight stay. Lots of walking and watersports.

Lincoln Farm in Standlake is excellent and there is a pub right by the entrance.

This site doesn't take weekend bookings during the school holidays, this may or may not help you with getting three pitches
