We are a family looking to camp around Goole/York area over bank Holiday weekend, any good experiences out there? We tried Spiers House but they are fully booked.

We went to Naburn Lock a couple of weekends ago. Its south of York. A really nice site with friendly wardens. Some nice walks down the river/lock.

I'd second Wolds Way - facilities absolutely amazing - level pitches, animals for the kids to feed, small shop, views to die for - need I say more!
