Do you know any camp sites where you camp in the woods in between tree's? Like a proper camping site...Spooky lol

Try Forest holidays via the C&CC site we stayed at Spiers House near Pickering Yorks Not exactly betweens trees but defo in the woods Some lovely woodland walks around the site

Blackberry wood nr Brighton is supposed to be fab! Not stayed there yet as our tent is too big, but may get a smaller 'weekend' tent for next year and this site will be top of our list. They allow fires and pitches are in small glens beautiful, no EHU though so take your freezer packs!

I was going to say Woodlands in the Forest of Dean. It's a Forestry Commission site now owned by the C&CC. It's not the cheapest place site and you need your own loo. Also you can't sleep in tents/awnings as there as wild pigs apparently.

Graffham C&C site near Petworth in Surrey. Camping in the woodlands or the glades with direct tracks and paths over the nearby fields close to the South Downs.

You must visit Hole Station campsite near Beaworthy in Devon (it has reviews on here) we went a few weeks ago - totally unspoilt in pretty woodland with firepits on every pitch and lovely owners.

Forest Holidays. They've got sites in the Forest of Dean, New Forest, one in Wiltshire, Yorkshire, Wales and Scotland.

We bought a "Forest Experience" card for £15 which is valid for 1 year. Gives you £3.50 per night off pitch fee and also local and national discounts.

Have stayed at their site in Marlborough (Postern Hill) and off to Bracelands in Forest of Dean soon
