We just come back from St Ivesbay Holiday park,in Hayle .Its was a lovely place .one of the best site we been to .We visited a lovely beach called Porthcurno beach,be warned through there are three beaches together witch get cut off by the tide at certain times of the day ,we walked along the beach and walked onto the 3rd beach with the children and was met by two nacked men walking out of the sea .we had walked on to a nudest beach .the children found it really funny.so if you go. dont go on the furthest beach.
You've got a theatre cut into the cliff at porthcurno called minack theatre, also eden project near st austell, st. ives is a nice harbour town with lots of picture shops and a beach, padstow has rick steins restaurant and fish shop worth the twenty quid for john dorry.
definately look at campsite search you can use a map to pinpoint where you'd like to go then choose the miles.

Healeys Cyder farm - free sampling head south from Newquay, past the roundabouts at Goonhaven and carry olong that road for a few miles and it's on your right hand side.
Are you taking kids ? Holywell bay amusement park and Dairyland are good (near Newquay)
Lands End - £10 for a photo at the sign is a little steep though, but they have a few things to do there for kids.
As for camp sites, we stopped at Tollgate Farm (waiting for my review to be published) and rate it very highly.

Depends on what kind of site your looking for, but we have just got back from Little Bodieve Wadebridge, Only fault with site is pitches are too close together we could only fit monty on one way and we looked right into someone elses tent!!

2013 Season.
Upgraded from a TT to a caravan.
Loving it!
Roll on summer :-)
Totally agree the Cyder Farm and Dairyland are both worth a visit. I think Landsend has been totally comercialised which has ruined it, I prefered it when you could just have a walk around and not faced by attractions you have to pay to get into. Crealy's is supposed to be the best day out, but we were very disappointed with it. There's a place that used to be called 'cornish gold' which is a nice afternoon out, it's name has escaped me for now. All the beaches are lovely.
If you go to Mevagissey, use the charity sports hall car park as you enter the village, cheap parking and lovely attendants. If you go to Padstow there is a park and ride which is worth using as parking by the harbour is horrendous.
We were most impressed at how dog friendly it is down there. We even stopped at one pub and asked if we could eat in the beer garden with the dog, of course they said, you can bring him inside if you want!
Flambards is a good day out if you like theme parks and a bit of history, although no good if you've got a dog.
Lots of really lovely places to visit, I'm almost convincing myself to go back there next year
Just come back to me, Cornish Gold is now called TreasurePark.
------------- May/June - Spring Valley
Aug/Sept - Leekworth
We,ve been going to Hendra holiday park just outside Newquay for a few years now and love it. Ok, Newquay town isn't to everyone's taste but the surrounding area is great and the site has everything you'll ever need. Watch out for the cancellation fee that is automatically added when you book though, you need to let them know in writing or email if you don't want it.

Try Camping Caradon in Polperro, lovely site we have been there 4 times. Small bar on site which serves meals in the evenings. Good toilet/shower facilities, very clean. They have a website.
