Me OH and dog have decided to go to IOW from 5th Sept for 4/5 nights

Can anyone recommend a site?

We like: the beach, good pubs, walking. We don't like: holiday parks, club houses, too many kids (no offence we just don't have any... yet!)

We have a 4 man tent and don't need electric etc.

comforts farm, northwood (nr cowes), cheap - no frills site, lovely setting and great for walks/beaches.

will be there till 01sept ourselves!

(ps. its "...to 'the' IOW", not "to IOW" ! sorry bit of an islander issue!)
