need to get a site as near to swindon as possible, seems to be a shortage of sites in this area, basic site will do, will need for ten nights, does anyone know of one, the price of hotels for our stay is over £600.

I have stayed here and it was great! Spotlessly clean loo and shower (in fact one of the best showers in terms of power and hot water I have used at a site), EHU and on a working farm a mile off the main road by Honda, so it's very peaceful but on the doorstep for Swindon.
I regularly drive past this CL on my way home from work. I've never stayed there but it looks ok from the road. It's around 7 or 8 miles from the centre of Swindon and about a 15 min drive (about 5 mins from Wootton Bassett). The location is very quiet and peaceful. a big thanks,looking good,will try the bell inn,why swindon you ask,i am being dragged there kicking and screaming to a wedding,and all the fuss that goes with it,and then an emigration party four days later,was intending to take fishing kit,but a stop has been put on that,i have tried every evasion to get out of this, but o/h is not having any of it,seems it is my fault that there are not any camp sites next door to the pub where it is all taking place.why ten days?, with a bit of luck it will be the last time she sees her brother, who is going to canada, new wife, new life,so there is not much chance of getting out of it,so swindon, here we come.

it's on this sites search facility , hobourne cotswolds, literally 5 mins from swindon and it's on the cotswold water park so fishing and watersprots right on your doorstep
