Just checked the 10 day weather forecast & yippee looking good so the mums have decided to spend next weekend in the lakes with the small people 2 aged 8 years & 1 aged 11yrs , could anyone recommend a campsite that has a play area & indoor pool. Nothing against Haven however prefer not a Haven site
Many thanks

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Not actually in the Lake District but close to it and it has a small campsite and a Private Indoor Pool which you can hire by the hour for your own or a party's use.
If you are camping the Middlebarrow (main site with pool) has rather uneven area for tenting. Hollins Farm would be your best bet = a brisk walk across the fields. Two good outdoor play areas at Middlebarrow and a tiny indoor one. Stunning walk up The Knott from Hollins Farm with wonderful views across to Grange and Morecambe. Arnside beautiful little coastal village. Been holidaying up this way for the last 40 years and always go back at some point. You can walk down to the 'front' from the sites - make sure you take wellies but beware of the tidal surge which can take walkers by surprise if you venture too far out to the sea.
Many thanks for the replies will look into those sites, also thanks Chrisaliz for the advice re the tidal surge will keep an extra close eye on the small people if we go to Hollins Farm.
