After various camping trips we asked the kids (8 and 10) what their ideal site would be and they both said one on a farm where they could help collect eggs, feed the animals etc.!

Does anyone know of anywhere like this? We dont have to have EHU as are quite self sufficiant.

Ideally would be good to be within 1 and a half hours drive from leeds as we like to get away weekends although all suggestions would be appreciated!!

If you can get away for longer Midbrooks, steeple ashton, wiltshire will tick all your boxes.. Just look at the reviews, we will do the 4hour drive again purely to stay here.

Only have about 15 pitches max, and the lovely owner Alan takes all the children twice a day to collect eggs, feed molly the pig and hold the rabbits. Not a farm but more in the back garden of a genuinely lovely couples home.

We had a fantastic time and are going back for 2010 and meeting up with the friends we made this year.
