Trying to get away this year from the sterotypical Christmas day family gathering and wondered what it would be like to find a site that's open over the festive period where there's something going on?  Don't mind travelling if it means that we're in for a good time.  Does anyone have any ideas?  I've got no idea where to start looking!

Like you, we may do something a little different this year for Xmas.

We spent this New Year in the van, it was cold outside (minus 9 one night) But it was warm on the inside!
All aquarolls were frozen up. Even ours with several layers of bubble rap and an old blanket covering it.

Would we do it again?

Yes most definately!

try breakspear way, hemel hempstead, just off the motorway but a brilliant site, use own shower and toilet though, non on site
