I've only ever seen one cat on holiday on a site and to be honest felt sorry for it, the people were out for most of the day so it was left couped up in the van then they only gave it a 5 minute exercise when they got back. (and no, they didn't scoop the poop)
Just let your dog play with it.
Looking at the size of it, the cat would get plenty of exercise!

We pitched our tent in the garden for a little trial with our kids one night and our cat was a menace. Managed to get under the flysheet and climbed up the outside of the inner tent frightening us half to death at 3am lol.
I'd never consider taking our cats away with us but thats us. We do take the dog. I think if owners are responsible it doesn't matter what animal they take. It comes down to just what is seen as "usual" or "unusual"
What a sensible attittude dianeb - after all many dog owners - not to mention parents ! - allow their animals to be a damn nuisance to others. It's all down to commonsense, consideration, & individuality. Not all cats/dogs/humans/kids are identical.
well true to form just got back from 4 days as northam farm (yes with the cat)and parked behind us was 2 yappy poodles all bl**dy day long. the owner was fishing in front of our van and kept calling across "shut up" wow that done a lot of good and along side of us we had 2 more dogs one of which spent more time worrying us on our pitch than on the owners.
we stayed on a site & people had 4 cats, they were let out at night, when we came back from the pub 2 of them was scavangine in our awning , people clean up after dogs no one do after cats, so maybe the site has had bad experiances with cats

We live next door to a caravan park and were surprised to find lots of cat owners bring their cats with them. I like cats but we had to complain when on a regular basis cats strayed in to our garden and left a deposit. We complained to the site owner who assured us any cats were only allowed on site if kept indoors. We weren't the only neighbours who had the problem, we had all seen cats coming through the fence at the back of the park, the cats obviously liked the soft dug soil in our gardens.
The park owner wants to stay friends with his neighbours and cats are now banned, its a pity cat owners didn't abide by the rules, they shouldn't have allowed their cats out through night. Thankfully, due to the considerate park owner the cat problem is now solved and because of my experience I can clearly understand why some sites do not allow cats.
