Has anyone been to Polmanter? We've never stayed at St Ives and have always stayed on rather large parks and wanted to have a change next year. The reviews look good but if anyone has any photos it would be great to see those. We have a Montana 6 with the front extention and was wondering if any of you knew if the pitches are spacious. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Dont think you will be able to find much to complain about at Polmanter. We were there this summer and are returning next summer. Book now if you want to be there in the school hols..
Yes we want to stay in August and are thinking about booking soon. Did you find the pitches a good size? They haven't put the tariff on for next year yet so I might give them a ring to find out prices etc. Was the restaurant nice, it looks good on the photos? Thanks for your comment.

we couldnt get on polmanter this year but opted for little treverack insted so glad we did it was fantastic.
We liked Little Treverack too. Owned by the same (extended) family as Polmanter. Pitches are quite spacious at L.T. but no clubhouse, shop etc. It does have a swimming pool though. Another site we really liked was Globe Vale, just outside Redruth. Small site, no pool, but small bar area - owners lovely - site really well kept. Take a look at the reviews for L.T and Globe Vale.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
