Anyone been here? How loud is the road noise really? Looks ideal for us but would hate loud road noise to spoil things for us. I'm thinking if we can get a pitch as far from the road as possible we may be ok but not sure after reading the reviews.

hi chris we stayed on a cl down the road from forest edge last september and we decided to have a look round whilst we were in the area.the road noise is very bad you are right next to the a30 which is busy night and day i should think it would be like sleeping next to the m25 and then the pitches lots of seasonal caravans there grass growing a foot high up the sides of there awnings lots of partys going on and this was a saturday afternoon in september.didnt look at the toilet and shower block had seen enough by then.hope this helps you if i were you id stay well clear
