I am in desperate help of finding a nice touring site for our 2 week holiday in august. We are hoping to go down near dorset, doodle door way. We are struggling to find a nice camp site, that lets us take our dog, has evening entertainment, and some activies to keep our 2 teenage boys amused! They are 13 & 15!
I have spent the last 2 days online searching. We also would like a coastal site, as we love the sea, sand etc. Are we asking too much. We can book a haven, park site etc, but they are asking £600 for the 2 weeks.
If anyone could recommend a nice family site, with the above, we would be extremely grateful, as we are giving up hope now.
Thanks Guys, kelly x

There is East Fleet Farm which gets rave reviews on here and has a pub on site as well as a proper shop or if that is too far from Durdle Dor then give Tom's Farm a go. Plenty of people there in August, for friend making, and a short walk to Swanage for beaches, amusement arcades and the local girls

hi have a look at hoburne bashley good site nr newforest and not to far from the beach 20 mins in car as indoor pool and golf football pitch all thee other kids stuff very clean faclities
was looking for just a good site on the coast, doesn't have to be close to durdle door, was just looking on that coast.
Unfortunately it poured down for 14 days last year, and with the boys getting a bit older, their harder to please, so was looking for a site that caters mainly for them, us and the dog are easy to please, its just the kids..
Most of the caravan/camping sites haven't got any evening entertainment, hence whilst we are struggling to find anywhere

Kim, we have gambled with one near lulworth, we just hope theres plenty for the kids. 2 weeks seems forever when the kids are constantly moaning...lol
Not sure if anyone else has noticed, but the prices this year seem to have gone up quite abit, not from companies like haven etc, but the independent run companies. We normally pay £300 for 2 weeks, but this year its costing us nearly £500!!! so lets hope theres plenty for the boys
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
