not walking distance but drive towards newport town centre and there is one on the left about 2 mles i think im sure some one else will tell you and give better directions.
if u take the a48 to Newport off the junction 28 roundabout keep going you will pass a big park on your left , go on a bit further until you arrive in a built up area this is called maesglas there is Sheppards Fish and chip Shop on your right and then few hundred yards down is the little shopping street and there Maesglas Fish Bar there, the Wai Wai chinese, maesglas balti and other shoppys,
There used to be a fab chippy right by the Tredegar house in the Duffryn Shops not sure if its still there though, theres a macdonalds in asda next door (pratically) to Tredegar house
