Hi folks, we're planning to start again this year, got all the gear we need (sorted that last year)we live in the north west, Lancashire. Can anyone recommend a camp site? willing to travel but not too far maybe 2 hours at the most. We have a Vango diablo, yes that's a large one... any suggestions??

Loads of great sites in the Lake District, use the search facility.

My personal fave in the lakes, because of the amazing surroundings, is the Great Langdale NT site.

There are some sites in the Fylde Gt Eccleston etc and within striking distance of riversway leisure in case you need any little extra's

How about Snowdonia? My particular favourite is this place although it is a bit basic. This place is also very nice or you could always try the infamous Shell Island, not my cup of tea but a lot of people like the place.

This is a really nice camp site, not very big, with a lovely pitch next to a nice little river, it has a pub onsite which is nice

Ive been here using a diablo 900, and fitted it next to the river no problem
