We didn't camp at all last year for one reason and another but biting at the bit now.

We'd like to try Cornwall but never been down that far, looking for a dog friendly campsite near the sea, we've no kids and like it quiet.

Any recommendations appreciated!

hi just come back from cornwall polimanter campsite st ives its a great site but there is so many to chose from, look on google sure you find what you want

Aren't there! Spoilt for choice.

Trethem Mill, near St Mawes - lovely and quiet.  Huge dog walking meadow on site, within close proximty of the sea.

River Valley at London Apprentice (near st Austell), adjoins woodland and river walks (off road - so dog friendly). 2.5 riverside walk to the coastal village of Pentewan.  Dogs are not allowed on the beach in summer but the river/woodland walks make up for it.  10 minute drive to Caerhayes beach (national trust) where dogs are allowed all year.
