Hi, I am visiting friends who live in Buxton and am looking to go camping later this year are there any good sites near to the town, I know of the Lime Tree camp site, but at £15.00 per night for a 3 man tent for myself seems a bit too much as I only need toilet and shower facilities don't need ehu.

Why not use the map search from here and you can pinpoint any location on the map, e.g. Buxton, and then search for all sites within 5, 10, 20 or 30 miles of your pinpoint.
Hi jpegg, there is Beechcroft farm (formally Cottage farm) Buxton, in a little place called Blackwell. Its basic, but they have or putting in new showers ect. owners are friendly. For 2 people, tent, car HS £13 and LS £11. If your on your own it's cheaper. Take a look at their website. Hope this helps?

Thanks heath63 I have looked at the site and the price would only be either £8.50 low season or £10.00 high season It's about 5 miles from my friends but is a good site to vist the area cheers.
