we stayed here with our tourer they also had cottages & statics for hire.

Lovely area and only 5 min walk into town

I've stayed at Greenhowe in Langdale - slightly grubby caravan - and at Gillside in Glenridding which was the better of the two.

Ang/Ken, I have passed the Hawkshead site whilst I visited last year, beautiful site.

MarkKath, The Gillside site looks beautiful and in the excellent location of Penrith, I may try this site.

GailK, Castlerigg Hall looks interesting, I didn't know of any sites in the excellent town of Keswick!
