We are camping on the Circuit for the moto gp in June. Can anyone tell me how many hookups they have. Their website just says "some" and I think it may be on a first come first served.
Any help ?

Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Is the camping really on the circuit? If so whereabouts? Traditionally Silverstone don't offer on circuit camping for the public.
The small marshals campsite (for races other than GP) is on the outside of Copse and they often put a generator in there to run the toilets and that has some hook ups off it, prob not more than 10.
I'd be pretty sure that anything put in will be temporary and therefore very limited in number. I'd work on the basis of a generator or solar power.
I'll have a look on the website and see if I can work out where it is
Right, I've had a look and it looks like they've created a new camping area at the outside of Club corner. If you go to the Silverstone website and look at the track layout you can see where it is. It is adjacent to what will be the new pit lane (but not this year).
I'd give them a ring and ask about hook up numbers, I can't imagine that there will be a vast number. The other thing to be aware of is that Club is a long way from the main part of the circuit, usually the concession stands etc are on the outside of the existing pit straight. You may want to think about bikes.
Quote: Don't want to upset anyone, but carn't you gennie people leave em at home, very annoying, I'd ban em
LOL banning gennies at campsits won't get you very far, many of the teams use them. Anyway the sound systems and the revving bikes will keep you awake anyway.
Race circuit camping isn't like the C&CC...
The facilities at Silverstone are good generally, I suspect the new camping area may be a little more rough and ready.
