Regarding beaches, cornwalls tourist board do a free map showing beaches that allow dogs and various restrictions. I think the web site is visitcornwall.com (or co.uk)

Trevarrian at   Mawgan Porth....nice site,dog walk,children friendly,nice owners.

HUGE DOG FRIENDLY BEACH a short walk away with PUB,CHIPPIE AND EXCELLENT PIAZZA and snack/breakfast(Flames).Great grub there and can sit outside.Also within 1 mile Tredeagar Inn,very dog friendly and lovely beer garden.A hidden gem with stunning viedws of Mawgan Porth.

I can second Ross park, also Trethem mill on the roseland peninsular in cornwall, both have enclosed dog meadow.  Penny
