Re: Whinfell Hall Farm Campsite at Lorton, near Cockermouth. The old mill bridge we usually cross to access the road to this site was destroyed by last year's floods. As we want to return to this site soon does anyone know if the bridge has been "rebuilt" or a temporary crossing made, and if the site is open for business?

As far as I'm aware the only crossing to be opened up is the main bridge out of Workington (allbeit still a temp bridge).
haven't heard or read of any others being rebuilt or temp crossing being put in

As Ang/Ken says, the best idea would be to phone them and ask - they will be the ones to know.
