we are going in august are the midgies that bad???

It is many years since I stayed there and the pitches were not marked out at all.

It was August for me and the midges were horrendous. An enterprising Dutch family lit a fire inside their tent to try and smoke them out. Must just have been a bad year...

If you are camping anywhere in Scotland and Midges annoy you, one of THESE inside your tent or caravan and some of THIS about your person and you can enjoy your holiday free from the little blighters.

The Bog Myrtle has been used by Highlanders for hundreds of years but nowadays it is refined and bottled. I bought a bottle in Spring 2009 and it is still more than half full.
