We are off to the Durdle Door Holiday Park in Dorset with our newly acquired touring caravan; does anyone know what the access roads are like; i.e is there any we should particularly avoid (narrow lanes etc) being novices in towing a caravan; I have read reviews on the site about some of the pitches being cloping; we have also got a pitch in the Abbeyfield area does anyone know what these are like (flat/sloping); would be grateful for any feedback or helpful hints as only our 2nd time out in the van and previously only been to a flat site!

We were down the a couple of weeks ago for the day. The b3070 from wareham to Lulworth and on to durdle door is a pretty good road. It has to be I guess for the tank transports.

Didn't use the pitches at all so didn't take much notice but I don't think they were too bad at all.

If you don't know the area Tynham village is an interesting excursion. Free apart from a £1 car park. Make sure its open as its on the tank ranges. The beach is marvellous but a 15min walk from the village.
