Hi Guys

Ok u lot got me hooked, joined last year but never had the bottle to go camping until easter just passed, it was our 1st time so went away to Ayr which is about 1hr 30mins away from us but thinking of doing the big one in July.

We have 3 kids so we have been looking for a site which has everything and came across Haven a site called LittleSea in Dorset, i know it's a hell of a journey from us in Motherwell but looks a great part of the world.

My question is has anybody been there this year, it states it has renewed all shower and toilet blocks they look good on the web and states that the pitches are only 5mins walk from the pool etc.

All comments welcome.

Have you looked at the campsite review section of this website? Someone may have put a review on regarding this.

We took our caravan there in 2008 and had a great time. The showers were very new then and we couldn't fault them.Plenty of hot water, hairdyers available and loads of loos. Don't remember the pot wash area as having the caravan ,meant we didn't use it.

We had a lovely pitch overlooking the fleet lagoon , you could walk down to a pebbly area of the lagoon from our pitch. We had a tent next to us and I would say the pitches were adequate in size. The wardens were very helpful getting us onto pitch and explaining everything.

The camping/caravan area was well out of the way of the statics, which was nice- it didn't feel like a big site when we were in the caravan. It was a 5-20min walk to the centre where all the bars, club and pool were. Our daughter (now 5) still talks about the shows and the bouncy castle and can't wait to go back. We all had a great time.

Added bonus that the weather does seem to always shine on us when we go to Weymouth! I do however remember it being a little windy whilst we were there.

Plenty to do around the area too. If you decide to do that long journey, I think you'll have a great time.

If you've got any other questions, I'll try to answer them for you if you post.
