I think you are thinking of "avon so soft" which i use and yes does work

but this is "SKIN SO SOFT Bug Guard Plus" which seems to combine it a sun

factor 30 .

the link is to avon u.s. site

checked the avon uk site and it is not listed.

on ebay it refers you to a U.S. site

i'll watch this thread with interest. we use skin so soft and it works a treat for repelling midges, but i worry about putting oil onto our skin when it's sunny even if it's put on over a layer of high factor suncream.

Whoops!After reading a thread on here bought the Avon skin so soft to repel midges etc. Have I bought the wrong one? Should I be using the bug guard one or do they both work?
Got mine from amazon.

Avon Skin so soft is the one that has worked for years and works a treat. I have noticed recently that Avon have cottoned on to why people are buying it and are now marketing versions soley as bug prevention.
