Agree with comments about the Weymouth relief road and stsying clear especially when school hols start but Weymouth is not one way in & out. There is access to the town from Bridport direction along the coast road. Bit of a switchback but an acceptable route.

We stayed at Whitemead in Wool , alovely quiet site about three miles from monkeyworld which turned out to be a reasonably priced very interestingday out.The site was immaculate and is not that that far from swanage .
