We went last year with our then four year old an 6 month old boys. There are plenty of chemical toilets and also eco ones. They are attended an emptied twice a day, but are not regularily cleaned. There a no 'free' showers, just posh one for a fee, the que can be big. There are water points and 'troughs' to wash in. We do like our creature comforts, but having said that we had a fantastic time. Go for it, especially if you have a family.
