We have free tickets to go and watch the renault world series at silverstone in september. We are hoping to take our tent can anyone recommend a site near by? Prefer to have a wash block and toilets if possible as the children are coming aswell.

The Map search comes up with a few quite nearby and I'm sure the Silverstone website has reccomendation. Have a look at the mapsearch and then you can read reviews on the site...

Some of these are only open for the GP. The local farmers ship in port-a-loo-bathrooms and stick them in a field for the weekend.
If traffic is not going to be a problem - don't forget Gullivers C&CC site in Milton Keynes. It takes about 20 mins to drive from MK to Silverstone. At Grand Prix time it takes hours !!!

Oooh Lichlake is on the TV - Look East Anglia : White Vans, Gazebos, and Party tents ! One tent has a bar and a disco all set up ! Lots of partying tonight I think.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
