Hi ,

newbes to the website here and novice camper !

Weve spent the morning trawling the website for a site next weekend but have overloaded ourselves so we aree asking the experts !!!. We after somewhere good for kids (8yr old 4 yr old), ie playground, pool and stream/beach for a couple or three nights next weekend for a good price. we are in warwick, would like to travel for max 2.30 - 3 hrs. tent only, ehu not fussed.

maybe south wales, devon or south coast area. Weve only stayed at bracelands/christchurch campite in the forest of dean before and loved it.

any and all suggestions welcome and many thanks for sharing your knowledge with us amateurs !! ;-)

click on the area you want to be, set the radius and tick the boxes down the side as required.

why not try here on your doorstep

are you looking just for a site with a pool or do you require entertainment as well?

if so then brean, burham areas etc might suit the bill

The Dower House in Thetford Forest is one of our favourites. Nice kids playground in the middle of the site and outdoor pool looks good. Lovely forest walks, and there is a stream nearby. About half an hour from the coast (Great Yarmouth). Good cycling country as well - nice and flat here in Norfolk! You have a choice of EHU or not. Nice showers etc.

Golden Cap Chideock, nr Bridport, Dorset - Lovel site, Fantastic view of the sea, river for the kids to play in, Pub on the beach!, Village with 2 more pubs a short walk from the rear of the park and  Dorset buses easily accessable. - Gets my vote every time.   Call in whilst you are there - unmissable!
