We have been asked to go with some friends to Crows Nest over the Aug bank hols. The reviews on here are pretty mixed. So, has anyone been lately, is it as noisey as a few of the reviews say? Does the tent field slope badly? Thinking it would be best to go Friday afternoon, before it fills up.

Thanks in advance

Sharon

Went last year,in July,it was heaving! Set the tent up and almost immediatley it was filled with hover flies. We camped on the left hand side and yes it does slope, and i can confirm that if you want to go to the beach then be prepared to abseil down the cliff!! The toilets are quite a way to go if you are desperate!! They are situated around the statics. I would not return to this site, but if you can handle the kids in the playground till midnight and the chavs then go for it.....
